Electric soldering iron left-handed welding technique

In the basic welding operation method, the solder wire is held in one hand and the soldering iron is held in the other hand. When soldering wires or leads, it is usually necessary to fix the leads or wires, and then perform the soldering operation, which is time-consuming and laborious. At this time, if the left hand can take both the solder wire and the wire, and one hand is used for both hands, it will make the soldering operation much more convenient and save the operation time. The following introduces a welding operation method using the left hand as two hands.

he specific operation method during soldering is shown in Figure 1. The thumb and index finger are used to clamp the wire, the index finger and the middle finger are used to clamp the solder wire, and the middle finger is used to feed the solder wire forward. This method of operation seems difficult to learn, but anyone can learn it after a period of practice and operate it freely.

When practicing the two usages of the left hand, first practice moving the middle finger back and forth on the index finger, and then clamp the solder wire to practice. Until you learn to use the middle finger to feed the solder wire forward, then add the wire, and then use the electric iron tip to learn the soldering operation. Beginners will not be accustomed to using only the left hand for a short period of time. You can use the right hand to help practice, and you can quickly master this operation method. The advantage of this method is that it can perform precision welding operations, save time and improve work efficiency.
